Fardux Middle-East now has its manufacturing and training facility truly established, so as a company we were pleased to participate at both the SPE intelligent Energy and Adipec in 2013. The SPE exhibition and conference held in Dubai was attended by key industry leaders and afforded Fardux the opportunity to showcase its latest product - FieldView.
FieldView is probably best described as an advanced visualisation and monitoring system for wells, although the actual application can be expanded and applied across several sectors within the industry. The SPE exhibition was small in comparison to Adipec, but attendance was high and the ability to demonstrate and discuss the technical aspects and merits of a product should never be underestimated. The feedback was extremely positive and this has encouraged us to attend the next SPE conference in Utrecht. This will be held in the early part of 2014.
The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADIPEC, on the other hand is the largest oil and gas event within the region and the largest outside of North America. Here we showcased both our traditional data acquisition systems alongside FieldView. These shows always afford an opportunity to meet new and existing clients. As a company it is important for us to continually engage with our clients. The more relaxed atmosphere of an exhibition lends itself to direct discussions and highlights many of the technological innovations ahead. It was a busy few days with talks and demonstrations given across a wide spectrum of people from young and enthusiastic field hands to veteran CEOs.
The aspirations and accomplishments of our industry are often explored within the shows. So if you haven’t been to one recently, well we hope to see you at a show in 2014.
