To reduce cable runs between the hazardous and safe areas of operation the IDEA EXD logger is certified for use in zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas.The EDX logger is designed to be permanently mounted on process equipment skids,considerably reducing rig up time especially when radio RS232 communication is employed.

The IDEA exd 24 channel data logger is designed and manufactured with all the pedigree and system compatability of its sister IDEA Enterprise Data Logger and software suites.

Communication back to the safe area host computer can be achieved via a wireless radio link or by a five core RS485 balanced line cable when radio transmissions are not permitted.

The Fardux EXD Data logger has been designed to fully integrate with other products in the Fardux range.
